My inspiration for researching and collecting this family data came from my mother who was a real family person, with family members being an extremely important part of her life. Like many people she had collected a family genealogy in her head not only for her direct PRIOR (her dad’s family) but also the CARTER (her mum’s family) and links to the SCHOTTELIUS family through the Carters.
This site has grown over the years thanks to a great range of Carter Descendants and friends who have assisted with the collection of their family data.
